The Construction of the Great Towers

Palzo became a key advisor to King Trid and the two became close friends. After some years Palzo predicted that the world would be invaded by extra-dimensional monsters. Paranoia is a well known symptom of Diamond Mandness, though Palzo seemed normal in every other respect. Eventually, Trid relented, and decided to place trust in his friend. Palzo began constructing a series of magical towers around Capital Isle. He claimed that with these towers he may be able to prevent the monster invasion.

Construction took half a human lifetime. The Isle Kindoms expanded their territory through both force and trade. Trid managed to become the longest-living human ever in history, many suspected with the help of magic.

Palzo managed to expand his trading in magical trinkets throughout most of the world and Diamond Mines became one of the world's most profitable enterprises. The Eastern Isle Kingdom firmly established itself as the world's most dominant in trade and military might.

The towers around Capital Isle were massive, reaching as high as the clouds. It seemed as if they were designed for giants and were the first thing a traveler would see over the horizon as they approached the southeastern coastline. Not long after the last tower was complete, Palzo made a trip to each tower.
