Most cards in Diamond Hand: Legends will have a speed stat. Cards that do not have a speed stat must be played during the prep phase.\
\
The speed stat on units will determine when the unit's attacks and abilities will resolve. If an ability will resolve at a different point on the initiative timeline then the ability will have its own speed stat listed, otherwise, the ability will resolve at the same speed as an attack from the unit.\
\
The speed stat on all other cards will similarly determine where they are placed on the initiative timeline.\
\
All attacks and effects with equal speed resolve at the same time logistically, however, they will visually resolve one or two at a time in order to make it easy for the player to understand what's happening.
