Turn Breakdown

This is what a typical turn looks like

  • Diamond energy increases in maximum power by +1 every turn capping at 10 energy.

  • Diamond energy replenishes to the new maximum.

  • Both players draw a card.

  • Both players go through a "prep phase" where they may spend energy to call units onto the battlefield, cast some spells, and use specific special abilities (such as Swift Shift, which allows a unit to change rows during the prep phase without using its action.) The prep phase for both players is taken simultaneously and neither player will see actions resolve until both players have finished declaring their prep phase actions or until the time runs out.

  • During the battle phase, both players may declare attacks, use unit abilities, and play any card with a speed attribute until either the time runs out or until the player declares the turn is over. Once all actions have been declared (or the time runs out) all attacks, special abilities, and casted cards resolve from highest to lowest speed stats. Effects, abilities, and attacks that have equal speed stats resolve simultaneously.

  • If the player has more than 10 cards the player must discard down to 10 cards at the end of the turn.
